Hong Kong, 1 September 2011 --- Wing Cheung Hing Knitters (WCH) today announced that WCH has enforced new rules to achieve green office.

WCH enforced the environmental policy in office in order to protect the environment. Reduce, recycle and reuse are the main target of the policy.  The policy includes reducing the use of paper, using energy saving appliances, using water saving devices, implementing paperless enterprise resource planning system, etc.  WCH has demonstrated the corporate social responsibilities by contributing to the greening of our city throughout the years.

To further reduce the use of paper in the office,  WCH participated the “ThinkBeforePrinting.org Campaign”.  Research showed that over 50% of pages printed are never looked at.  WCH encourages employees not to print out e-mail if it is not necessary. WCH would like to spread the message to our business partners, the phrase “ Please consider the environment before printing this email” was added to the footer of WCH email.  WCH hopes that the recipients of email will think before they print.
